Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati was an average student and an excellent athlete. His passions included mountain climbing and playing practical jokes—his many friends called him "the Terror.”He was dedicated to the Catholic faith through service of the poor, spreading piety to the Eucharistic, and Marian devotion. GIVING TUESDAY IS HERE!

#GivingTuesday is a global movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. We ask that you help transform our JPII community by making a donation to the school as we participate in #iGiveCatholic for the first time. You can designate your donation for academics, the school's greatest needs, or an area of your choice.

$25 buys art and music supplies for one student
$75 pays for a driver to transport a team to an away game
$50 covers certain expenses related to our annual retreat & days of service
$100 can help purchase supplies used each year by our science labs
$300 pays for an iPad
$500 covers the cost of officials for one football game
$500 also covers the cost of purchasing the rights to a drama performance

Our annual fund goal this year is $50,000 and we need every family to participate! Whether you give $5 or $5,000, every gift is important!

MEN'S SOCCER WORKOUTS

Coach Escobar will hold workouts for men's soccer on Monday and Wednesday this week from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the stadium.

UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER DAY

Ugly Christmas Sweater Day has become a tradition at JPII so make sure you have yours ready to wear on Monday, December 7! Wear your favorite Christmas sweater with uniform bottoms.

CANDY CANE GRAMS

Anyone can send a candy cane (or however many you would like to order), the story of the candy cane, and a personal message to anyone at the school (student or faculty) on Friday, December 11. The cost is $1 for one or $3 for 5. Order now through Tuesday, December 8.

SERVICE HOURS

All students should record their service hours throughout the course of the year. You can record service to the school as well as service hours you do for any outside organizations. Use the button below to access the form to submit any service done from June 2020-May 2021.

The swim team came up just short in its first meet of the year against Southeastern Home School and Christ Covenant:

The Saints swimmers next meet is Friday, December 4 at 6:00 p.m. at Aquaventure. Spectators are not allowed but Aquaventure is live streaming meets on Facebook.

6:00 p.m. - Varsity Women

7:30 p.m. - Varsity Men

Thursday at home against Parrott:

4:30 p.m. - JV Men

Teams are only allowed 25 spectators so tickets are only available to player parents at this time. Home games will be streamed live on jp2sports.com, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

FAMILY ASSOCIATION MEETING

The first Family Association meeting of the year will be held this Tuesday, December 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.

On Friday after school, the interest meeting for the new e-Sports Club was held. If you are interested but could not attend the meeting, please email senior Nate Hasselbach.
