Each summer we like to host a bowling outing to give students an opportunity to get together and as a way for new students to meet one another as well as our returning students. This year's outing is Wednesday, July 16th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Bowlero (formerly AMF) on Red Banks Road. Cost is $30/person and includes: - 2 hours of bowling
- shoe rental
- unlimited soft drinks
- unlimited chicken tenders, pepperoni pizza, and french fries
- $10 arcade card (20 credits)

Students who complete the driving portion of Driver's Ed over the summer and need the N.C. Driving Eligibility Certificate to obtain a permit should email the main office to request the certificate. A reminder that office summer hours are Tuesdays-Thursdays from 9-12 so please plan accordingly. |

TRANSITION FROM RankOne TO HEALTHY ROSTER Returning families with student-athletes are familiar with the RankOne app to upload physicals and sign all forms related to students participating in athletics. Athletic Trainer Shelbi Dawkins will now be using Healthy Roster instead of RankOne for this purpose. If you are the parent of a student-athlete (returning or new) and have not received an invitation to Healthy Roster, please email Shelbi. CONCUSSION TESTING Student-athletes are required to complete concussion baseline testing every year. If you plan to participate in any sport during the 2025-2026 school year, please sign up for one of the times below. All testing will be be held in the dining hall except on July 30th. - July 29th - 6:00 & 7:00 p.m.

This is an option for student-athletes who need a physical - it is not required. The cost is $25 (payable by cash or check the day of). Parents of student-athletes who participate are asked to complete the first two sections of the NCISAA Packet prior to the physical and bring the entire packet to the physical for completion. A link to reserve your time online will be available in a future summer update email. |

Mrs. Lyles is leading a trip to Disney World in January 2026 to learn the physics and technology of Disney parks. When: January 14-17th 2026 Who: The trip is open to all JPII students (40 max) What: Students will spend three nights and two full days in the Walt Disney Park and attend a 2-hour hands-on workshop about the physics of the park and an additional workshop about technology in the park. Travel: via motor coach Meals: Students will receive vouchers for meals at the park Lodging: Walt Disney Resort Hotel (4 students/room) Cost: Approximately $1,500 (amount may be slightly higher or lower depending on the number attending) with non-refundable deposit of $250. Cost includes park tickets, transportation, food (at the park), and lodging. The remaining amount will be charged monthly to your Finalsite Enrollment account during the 2025-2026 school year. Complete the commitment form to sign up for a place on the trip! |
