TONIGHT: CHRISTMAS CAROLING

Come make a joyful noise as we spread Christmas cheer for all to hear! Parents and siblings are invited - the more the merrier! Meet at the front of the school at 5:45 p.m. so we can leave promptly at 6:00 p.m. We plan to return to the school no later than 8:00 p.m.

Please use the form linked below to let us know you'll be joining us so we don't leave without you. Dress warm and festive!

MIDTERM SCHEDULE

Midterm exams are this week with two exam periods each day: 8:10-10:10 and 10:30-12:30. Students will need to arrive by 8:00 a.m. for morning assembly and be picked up at 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday: 1st & 2nd periods

Wednesday: 3rd & 4th periods

Thursday: 5th & 6th periods

Friday: 7th & 8th periods

Students who have a study hall will not need to be on campus during the time reserved for that exam period. Also, teachers who teach electives had the option of substituting a midterm exam for an alternative assessment. If your student has an elective teacher who utilized this option, they will not need to be on campus during the exam period for the elective class.

Please ask your student about their exam schedule and arrange transportation accordingly.

LA POSADA IS FRIDAY NIGHT

La Posada celebrates the upcoming birth of Jesus with traditional Hispanic food, singing Christmas songs in Spanish, and more. All are invited to participate this Friday, December 17 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The event begins at the gym with a procession over to the school that ends in the dining hall.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Ten Days of Giving! Students have given their talents and treasure by decorating the school, representing us at the Christmas parade, and donating cans of food, toys, and socks. The students collected 828 cans and dry food items, 133 pairs of socks, and 34 toys!

SPORTS PARTICIPATION FEES

Sports participation fees for students who are playing a winter sport (basketball, cheerleading, swimming, and wrestling) will be billed to family Smart Tuition accounts in January. If you have any questions, please contact Business Manager Mary Ershadi.

RALLY AND MARCH FOR LIFE

Mr. Zylis is coordinating the school's participation in the Rally and March for Life at the Bicentennial Plaza in Raleigh on Saturday, January 15 at 1:00 p.m. If you are interested in joining, sign-up outside Mr. Z's classroom.
