| | Dear JPII families, We are looking forward to another great week at JPII! Our school continues to see a dramatic decrease in COVID cases and we are now a mask-optional campus. We still ask that everyone is vigilant---and if your student is sick---please keep them home. Students, please remember that the choice to wear or not wear a mask is a personal one and no one is to judge or criticize someone for their choice. Thank you so much to the 9th Grade SGA and Mrs. Holley for hosting a fun dance last night! It was great to see all the students and faculty members out on a Saturday night. Special shoutout to Mrs. Mabe, Mrs. Garrido, Ms. Bradsher, and Mrs. Holley for getting out there and busting a move! Tomorrow is a "Feed a Starving Teacher" day which also means it’s a dress-down day (no pajama pants!) for students and faculty members! On Thursday, sophomores will visit The Refuge for their class spiritual retreat. Furthermore, there is no school this Friday and next Monday. Special thanks to Mrs. Gregory, Ms. Goetz, and Mrs. Mitchell for helping with the dance and feeding our starving teachers! Speaking of our teachers, we are looking for four new teachers to start in August: If you know someone who might be interested, please share the opportunity with them. We want the best for our students! All positions require a bachelor’s degree in education or content area with a NC Teaching License. I hope you have a great week! In Christ, |
