THE SPRING PLAY IS THURSDAY!
The JPII performing arts department will present "Anxiety is Orange" on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Current regulations allow for each of the actors to have 8 tickets to share with family and friends to attend. If you are unable to secure one of these tickets, the play will be live-streamed on our Facebook page and YouTube channel so the entire JPII community will be able to watch. Be sure to tune in!

CONCUSSION BASELINE TESTING FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR

JPII student-athletes are required to take concussion vital sign testing annually. You can go ahead and complete your testing for the 2021-2022 school year with Athletic Trainer Mary Leach this Thursday, May 20 or Tuesday, May 25. Testing will be held at the end of the school day on both days. To participate, you must bring a laptop with you; an iPad will not work.

SUMMER READING

Below are the summer reading selections for each grade:

Rising 9th graders - The Book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible
Rising 10th graders - Sir Gawain and the Green Knight
Rising 11th graders - Frankenstein
Rising 12th graders - Book of your choice with more than 100 pages (must be approved by Mr. Elliott)

CHEERLEADING INTEREST MEETING

New cheer coach Amanda Snyder will hold a meeting for those interested in cheerleading for the 2021-2022 school year this Tuesday, May 18 at 5:30 p.m. in the gym.

CROSS COUNTRY INTEREST MEETING

Cross country coach Joe Corley will hold a meeting for those interested in running cross country for the 2021-2022 school year this Friday, May 21 at 3:15 p.m. outside the main doors to the gym.
