Our Class of 2025 graduates have been named to the AP School Honor Roll! The Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP programs are delivering results for students while broadening participation. This honor reflects JPII's commitment to academic excellence, rigorous coursework, and preparing our students for college and beyondโmind, body, and spirit. 42 of the 54 graduates were enrolled in at least one AP course their senior year (College Culture) 6 of them completed 5 or more AP courses during high school (College Optimization) 31 of them earned college credit by scoring a 3 or higher on at least one AP exam (College Credit) While this recognition is specific to graduates from the Class of 2025 during their senior year, a few notes about AP and dual enrollment courses at JPII: Students are eligible to begin AP courses in 9th grade. Last year 37% of the student body at least one AP course; this year 46% are enrolled in at least 1 AP course. The percentage of last yearโs AP students who received a 3 or greater (which qualifies them for college credit) across all the exams is higher than the state average. 58% of eligible students (juniors and seniors) are enrolled in dual enrollment courses this year. |
