SHADOW STATIONS OF THE CROSS

Members of the senior class did a great job with the shadow Stations of the Cross on Friday! It was impactful and moving!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the car wash on Saturday and helped us raise $489 and put us over our goal of $1,000 for Fr. Gaston's "Little Angels!" Thank you also to all of the students and faculty who volunteered their time to make this happen! Monetary donations continue to be accepted by using the button below.

Sophomore Class SGA wants to hear from students who would be interested in a movie night on Cinco de Mayo. Share your interest in attending and vote for which movie to watch by using the button below.

MOVIE NIGHT VOTING

The Athletic Booster Club is hosting a spring sports tailgate on Monday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. during the games against Parrott. Hot dogs, chips, and desserts will be provided (but this is not an all-you-can-eat buffet!). The tailgate will be located in the grassy area near the softball field first base dugout. All are welcome!

Join us for a night of adults-only fun at the tables on Saturday, May 13 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. in the gym. We will have seven Blackjack tables, two Roulette tables, and a Craps table that will be open from 6:00-9:30 p.m.; then casino chips can be used to purchase raffle tickets for fantastic items from local businesses. Auction items will also be available.

2023 VIRTUAL U.S. SERVICE ACADEMY INFORMATION DAY

Senator Thom Tillis is hosting a webinar for students to learn about post-high school graduation opportunities with the U.S. Service Academies, N.C. National Guard, and ROTC on Saturday, April 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. After registering, you will be sent an email with additional information and instructions on how to join the webinar.

JPII PARENT JENN DAVIES NOW LOCAL COORDINATOR FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

We are excited to have JPII parent Jenn Davies now working with Global Horizons, our partner for international students! If you are considering hosting a student, come meet her Monday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the gym during Curriculum Night for incoming freshmen and transfer students.

Host families are responsible for providing a loving environment and transportation to school. The students will cover all their expenses, including school tuition, health insurance, phone plan, etc, while in the USA.

9th, 10th, and 11th grade students need to submit their course requests in FACTS no later than this Wednesday, April 5th!

We are searching for an English teacher to teach our awesome students next school year! Interested persons should send their résumé and a letter of interest to Mrs. Stanley at kstanley@jp2highschool.com.

We are looking for drivers who hold a CDL license with a passenger endorsement. Interested? Email mainoffice@jp2highschool.com.

The Carolina Pregnancy Center presents the "Born 2 Run" family-friendly 5K on Saturday, May 6. The timed 5K ($28) starts at 8:30 a.m. and the fun run 5K ($23) starts at 9:00 a.m. Participants who register before April 17 will receive a T-shirt, swag bag, and a token of love to give to the mom in their life. An anonymous donor is offering to pay the registration fee for students who would like to participate; see Dr. Infinito for details.

The Refuge in Ayden is looking for about 4 more high school aged students to work with our program team this summer. We are looking for two lifeguards and two more to help with fishing, canoeing and paddle boarding.

The Ulster Project of Greenville is searching for host teens and families for teens from Northern Ireland from June 28-July 21. The host and visiting teens have a schedule of fun, free activities, service projects, church services, trips, and times of discoveries that will keep them busy. Hosts are asked to provide a loving home with either a private room or a shared bedroom with your teen and to drop your teens off and pick them up from activities. JUNIORS & JUNIOR PARENTS: Below are the vaccine requirements for starting 12th grade. In order for a senior to receive their 2023-2024 class schedule, Ms. Blanton needs to have an updated immunization record that reflects these vaccinations.
