HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OF OUR SAINTS MOMS!

Tuesday is the LAST DAY to support the donation drive for the Humane Society! Items needed include animal toys (hard and soft toys), kitten formula, dog food, cat food, dog and cat shampoo, and grooming items.

CONCUSSION BASELINE TESTING FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR

JPII student-athletes are required to take concussion vital sign testing annually. You can go ahead and complete your testing for the 2021-2022 school year with Athletic Trainer Mary Leach on Thursday, May 20 or Tuesday, May 25. Testing will be held at the end of the school day on both days. To participate, you must bring a laptop with you; an iPad will not work.

SUMMER READING

Below are the summer reading selections for each grade:

Rising 9th graders - The Book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible
Rising 10th graders - Sir Gawain and the Green Knight
Rising 11th graders - Frankenstein
Rising 12th graders - Book of your choice with more than 100 pages (must be approved by Mr. Elliott)

SPRING PLAY IS NEXT WEEK!
The JPII performing arts department will present "Anxiety is Orange" next Thursday, May 20 at 7:00 p.m. Details about attending are TBD.

ACADEMIC AWARDS CEREMONY

The 2020-2021 Academic Awards Ceremony will take place this Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Parents of students being honored were sent invitations last week. The event will be live-streamed so that extended family and the entire JPII community can watch.

VARSITY LETTER JACKETS
If you missed the opportunity to order a letter jacket with the Jostens rep last week, you can still order one (just get the form to Mr. Smith). If you need to try on a sample jacket, Mr. Smith has the samples for this week only so email him to arrange a time to try one on.
