Mark your calendars! The inaugural Broadway Night will take place Saturday, April 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the PAC. This will be a night of singing and acting by our students, with our theme being "Songs that Matter." Admission will be free (suggested $5/person donation at the door), and donation cans will be placed on tables during the show if you would like to donate to our growing arts programs.

DIGITAL TICKETING ONLY STARTS MONDAY

A reminder that we are no longer accepting cash or Venmo at the gate for athletic events; only digital tickets will be accepted for home sporting events. Tickets can be purchased online or by downloading the HomeTown Fan app in the Google Play store or Apple App store.

SERVICE ACADEMY DAY HOSTED BY CONGRESSMAN MURPHY

Congressman Greg Murphy, MD invites all interested students, parents, and educators to attend Service Academy Day on Saturday, March 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Craven Community College. NHS INDUCTION CEREMONY

A reminder that this year's National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will take place next Wednesday, March 30 at 9:00 a.m. in the PAC. Parents of newly-inducted students are invited to attend.

Spend an afternoon on the golf course while supporting our school! The inaugural JPII Golf Tournament will be held Thursday, May 5 (Cinco de Mayo!) at Greenville Country Club with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. Individual playing spots are $125 or make it an afternoon with three friends to play as a team for $500. Hole sponsorships are also available. Click the button below to learn more.

YOU CAN NOW PAINT THE ROCK!

Our spirit rock is a great way to celebrate birthdays, show your school spirit, or congratulate students for their accomplishments! Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis and must be paid for at the time of reservation. The weekly fee is $25 and all money raised from the spirit rock will be used to fund general academic needs. Reservations are being accepted for now until the end of June; use the button below to see all the rules and reserve a week. This link can also be found under "STUDENT LIFE" on the website.

NEXT DRIVER'S ED CLASS IS IN MAY

Students who need to take driver's ed and will be 14-and-a-half as of Monday, May 9 are eligible to participate in a class that will be held at the school May 9-13 and 16-20 from 3:15-6:15 p.m. each day. Students cannot miss any of the days or they will not get credit and do not receive a refund. Cost is $60 payable to JPII. Would you consider hosting a teen from Northern Ireland for 3 weeks this summer?

It is easier than you may think!

The Ulster Project pairs your teen with a teen from Northern Ireland from June 27-July 18. The teens (hosting and visiting) have a schedule of fun activities, service projects, church services, trips, and times of discovery that will keep them busy. Local counselors and counselors from Northern Ireland will be supervising the kids during all scheduled activities.

What do we ask of you and your family?

Provide a loving home with either a private room or a shared bedroom with your teen
Drop your teens off and pick them up from activities (participating families help each other out; if there are any schedule conflicts during those 3 weeks, that can usually be worked out)
