Our Bowls Overfloweth, our annual bowl and soup sale fundraiser, is coming up on Thursday, Jan. 15th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Your soup and bowl ticket for this event provides you with a handmade pottery bowl and a 32-ounce container of soup that serves 2-4 people. The soups will be frozen for your use anytime. Additional bowls or soups can be purchased. Each bowl is a work of art and is guaranteed to be one of a kind. The bowls are created by JPII students & teachers as well as several pottery guilds in Greenville and Pitt County.

PURCHASE TICKETS

The Junior Class Family Pack is hosting a "Back to the 80s" Adult Prom on Saturday, Jan. 24th from 7:00-10:00 p.m. in the PAC. Tickets are $15 for individuals or $25 for couples. BYOB (beer and wine only); light refreshments will be provided. Break out the neon, big hair, and taffeta - or rock your everyday hairstyle! Dress to the theme or come as you are - 80s attire is encouraged but not required.

NEEDED: Munchkins (no, not the Dunkin' kind 😁) for the upcoming production of The Wizard of Oz

Family and friends of JPII with children of any age are invited to be a part of the show as a Munchkin. The first meeting for the rehearsal process is this Saturday, Jan. 10th at 11:00 a.m. in the PAC.

**Parents and guardians must be present with their children!!

Spring Vaudeville Style Variety Show Interest Meeting

The excitement is building for the Vaudeville Variety Show this spring! We want to see all you talented people: singers, dancers, musicians, poets, magicians, acrobats, jugglers, and anything else you can come up with to entertain an audience! Everyone at JPII is invited to participate: students, faculty, and staff!

When: Tuesday, Jan. 13th
Where: Senior Dining Hall
What:
- Discuss the set up of the show
- Talk about what type of act you’d like to do
- Answer questions about the show
- Sign up for a time to present your act as you’d like it done in the show

Re-enrollment for the Opportunity Scholarship opens on Feb. 2nd
School re-enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year will start in early March
Families returning for the 2026-2027 school year who currently receive school-based financial aid can start working on the FACTS Grant & Aid application now

Baseball practice begins on Tuesday, Jan. 6th. Starting Tuesday, and going forward, practices will take place Monday through Friday from 3:30-5:00 p.m. Dress appropriately for cold weather!

Reminder: Students have two weeks to submit your WOM hours for the 1st and 2nd quarter. The deadline is Jan. 16th.

Juniors interested in attending UNC can learn what a typical day on campus is like through the Project Uplift and Uplift PLUS summer enrichment programs. Learn about these programs during a virtual information session on Jan. 28th.
