SHADOW STATIONS OF THE CROSS

Students will participate in a Shadow Stations of the Cross this Friday, March 31 at 10:45 a.m. in the PAC. Family members are invited to attend!

The Multicultural and Spirit Clubs are holding a car wash on Saturday, April 1 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at the school to benefit Fr. Gaston's "Little Angels" as part of our Lenten observance which includes almsgiving in addition to fasting and prayer.

Monetary donations continue to be accepted; we are just $155 short of our goal of $1,000 by Good Friday! Help us by coming to Saturday's car wash or making an online donation.

MORNING DROP-OFF REMINDER

All students being dropped off in the morning should be dropped off at the main entrance, not the south hall doors. We've noticed a growing number of drop offs at the south hall doors which can create a safety issue where drivers expect cars ahead of them to proceed to the front entrance only to stop unexpectedly. The south hall doors are only open for students who park at the athletic campus.

The 2nd Annual JPII Golf Tournament, sponsored by Tyler Williams Builders, is this Thursday, March 30 at Greenville Country Club. Lunch is provided between 12:00 and 12:30 with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m.The weather forecast is 67 and sunny so grab your clubs and join us!

Join us for a night of adults-only fun at the tables on Saturday, May 13 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. in the gym. We will have seven Blackjack tables, two Roulette tables, and a Craps table that will be open from 6:00-9:30 p.m.; then casino chips can be used to purchase raffle tickets for fantastic items from local businesses. Auction items will also be available.

2023 VIRTUAL U.S. SERVICE ACADEMY INFORMATION DAY

Senator Thom Tillis is hosting a webinar for students to learn about post-high school graduation opportunities with the U.S. Service Academies, N.C. National Guard, and ROTC on Saturday, April 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. After registering, you will be sent an email with additional information and instructions on how to join the webinar.

JPII PARENT JENN DAVIES NOW LOCAL COORDINATOR FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

We are excited to have JPII parent Jenn Davies now working with Global Horizons, our partner for international students! If you are considering hosting a student, come meet her Monday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the gym during Curriculum Night for incoming freshmen and transfer students.

Host families are responsible for providing a loving environment and transportation to school. The students will cover all their expenses, including school tuition, health insurance, phone plan, etc, while in the USA.

We are searching for an English teacher to teach our awesome students next school year! Interested persons should send their résumé and a letter of interest to Mrs. Stanley at kstanley@jp2highschool.com.

The Carolina Pregnancy Center presents the "Born 2 Run" family-friendly 5K on Saturday, May 6. The timed 5K ($28) starts at 8:30 a.m. and the fun run 5K ($23) starts at 9:00 a.m. Participants who register before April 17 will receive a T-shirt, swag bag, and a token of love to give to the mom in their life. An anonymous donor is offering to pay the registration fee for students who would like to participate; see Dr. Infinito for details.

The Refuge in Ayden is looking for about 4 more high school aged students to work with our program team this summer. We are looking for two lifeguards and two more to help with fishing, canoeing and paddle boarding.

The Ulster Project of Greenville is searching for host teens and families for teens from Northern Ireland from June 28-July 21. The host and visiting teens have a schedule of fun, free activities, service projects, church services, trips, and times of discoveries that will keep them busy. Hosts are asked to provide a loving home with either a private room or a shared bedroom with your teen and to drop your teens off and pick them up from activities. JUNIORS & JUNIOR PARENTS: Below are the vaccine requirements for starting 12th grade. In order for a senior to receive their 2023-2024 class schedule, Ms. Blanton needs to have an updated immunization record that reflects these vaccinations.
