The Family Pack is hosting a social for parents and guardians this Saturday, April 30, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. We'll have The Breakfast Club on the big screens with breakfast-related snacks and breakfast mixers if you BYOB!

Hopefully, you'll want to join us not just because you don't have anything better to do. We hope you'll want to come and socialize with fellow parents who are friends...and meet others who will become new friends. Feel free to break out your varsity letter jacket or items from your wardrobe that would make Barry Manilow want to raid your closet and join us for a night of fun! If you are planning to attend, please RSVP so we have plenty of snacks for everyone.

Last call for golfers! The inaugural JPII Golf Tournament will be held next Thursday, May 5 (Cinco de Mayo!) at Greenville Country Club with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. Individual playing spots are $125 or make it an afternoon with three friends to play as a team for $500. Click the button below to learn more.

Students interested in serving on SGA next year need to see Mrs. Lyles for eligibility and forms which will be due May 6.

THE SPRING PLAY IS NEXT WEEK

Our students will perform "Bedtime Stories (As Told by Our Dad) (Who Messed them Up)" on Friday, May 6 at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Art Center.

To celebrate the last day of classes, Performing Arts and Sophomore SGA are co-hosting an Improv & Karaoke Night on Thursday, May 19.

Improv: 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Karaoke 7:15 p.m.-until

Admission will be a $5 donation to support the cause in Ukraine. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

DRIVER'S ED CLASS STARTS MAY 9

Students who need to take driver's ed and will be 14-and-a-half as of Monday, May 9 are eligible to participate in a class that will be held at the school May 9-13 and 16-20 from 3:15-6:15 p.m. each day. Students cannot miss any of the days or they will not get credit and do not receive a refund. Cost is $60 payable to JPII. Congratulations to senior Lawson Barbee who recently earned his Eagle Scout! Lawson will be attending ECU in the fall as a Chancellor's Fellow in the Honors College.

MUSIC LESSONS

Would you like to learn an instrument? Do you have an instrument sitting around your house but haven't picked it up since elementary school? Are you interested in participating in the pep band in the winter, but don't currently play an instrument? Ms. Goodman offers instrumental and voice lessons over the summer at the school, including piano. Contact her for rates and scheduling details. You must provide your own instrument (but Ms. Goodman can help you acquire one if needed!)
