This year's junior/senior prom is May 18 from 8:00-11:00 p.m. at Stokes Family Farm. Tickets are $30 each and are now on sale.

Join us for a night of adults-only fun at the tables on Saturday, May 13 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. in the gym. We will have seven Blackjack tables, two Roulette tables, and a Craps table that will be open from 6:00-9:30 p.m.; then casino chips can be used to purchase raffle tickets for fantastic items from local businesses. Auction items will also be available.

AP EXAMS & FEES

AP course fees will be assessed to SchoolAdmin accounts in May - $95 per course per student. Below is the schedule of AP exams:

Athletic Trainer Julia Digiacomo will administer concussion baseline testing for student-athletes who would like to go ahead and complete the testing for next school year.

BRING YOUR MACBOOK WITH YOU!

PREPARING TO RETURN YOUR MACBOOK

All students (including seniors) will need to turn in their MacBooks on Wednesday, May 24 at 12:30 p.m. or Thursday, May 25 at 10:15 a.m. upstairs in the gym. Students who are taking summer classes through PCC and would like to keep their MacBooks should notify Mr. Doug via emailno later than Friday, May 19.

If you have decorated the MacBook in any way, that will need to be undone. Stickers need to be removed and any adhesive residue removed. While you cannot return it in new condition like it was given to you, please do your best to return it in as close to like-new condition as possible for the next student who will use it.

Both the MacBook and charger (block and cable) need to be turned in at the same time - please do not bring one without the other unless you have lost your charger and need to pay for a replacement. Since the school provided an official Apple power adapter and cable, if you are buying a replacement, it must be official Apple products:

If you need to pay the school the replacement cost at the prices above, you can do so either by cash, check, Venmo @JPIICatholic, or by credit card with Mrs. Ershadi.

Students who are interested in traveling to Costa Rica in May of 2024 for a 7-day ecological tour are invited to attend an interest meeting on this Tuesday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. in the PAC. Please bring a parent with you!

Sophomore Class SGA is hosting a Cinco de Mayo themed potluck dinner & movie night this Friday from 6:00-8:30 p.m. in the PAC and the feature film is Coco. Bring food and drinks to share!

The Carolina Pregnancy Center presents the "Born 2 Run" family-friendly 5K on Saturday, May 6. The timed 5K ($28) starts at 8:30 a.m. and the fun run 5K ($23) starts at 9:00 a.m. Participants who register before April 17 will receive a T-shirt, swag bag, and a token of love to give to the mom in their life. An anonymous donor is offering to pay the registration fee for students who would like to participate; see Dr. Infinito for details.

BORN 2 RUN REGISTRATION

CFNC is hosting a virtual Career Fair for high school juniors (but any grade level is welcome) on May 3rd from 3:30-5pm. It will be in a panel form and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions. There will also be a short 10-min overview of financial aid.

Cheerleading will host workouts to learn tryout material June 5-7 and June 15-16 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Tryouts will be held on June 20 in the gym from 9:00-11:00 a.m. If you plan to attend, please email Mrs. Holley so she can send you additional information.

Students interested in running cross country in the fall should email Coach Corley. Summer workouts will begin during the second week of June. The Saints are coming off of a very productive and record-setting 2022 and need your help to continue to get better! We work hard, but we have fun, too.

JUNIORS & JUNIOR PARENTS: Below are the vaccine requirements for starting 12th grade. In order for a senior to receive their 2023-2024 class schedule, Ms. Blanton needs to have an updated immunization record that reflects these vaccinations.
