As we bring the school year to a close, the celebrations to honor the Class of 2025 begin! Baccalaureate Mass will take place at St. Gabriel Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 21 at 6:00 p.m. and Commencement will be held on Friday, May 23 at 10:00 a.m. Weather permitting, Commencement will take place on the turf field and will be open to the JPII community; otherwise, it will take place in the gym and will be a ticketed event. Our 55 graduates have left their mark on JPII with many accomplishments - some individual, some collective that include accepting $1,918,224 in scholarships and being offered many thousands of dollars more! We wish them an abundance of future success wherever God's plan takes them next. They are off to 26 different places; below are the schools they collectively earned acceptances to attend: |

TRACK & FIELD SETS RECORDS AT THE STATE MEET The track and field program closed the season with another historic performance at the NCISAA Division II state meet on Friday and Saturday at Gaston Christian. The clear highlight was TT Moore, who on Saturday became JPIIβs first state champion as he won the triple jump with a school-record leap of 42-9 1/2. Moore, whose previous best entering the meet was 40-11, seemed to get better with each jump throughout the preliminary and final rounds as he took first by eight inches. A day earlier he finished fifth in the long jump when he soared 20-5 1/2, just 5 1/2 inches off his school record he set eight days earlier at the CPIC meet. |
