2023-2024 ANNUAL FUND: MAKE A GIFT. CHOOSE YOUR IMPACT. |
| Thank you to those who have contributed to this year's Annual Fund. Your financial commitment to our school's success can be made at any time and we encourage all families to make an end-of-year contribution today! Contributions to the Annual Fund can be a tax-free cash donation or you can include JPII in your estate planning, stock sales, lifetime gifts, or in-kind gifts. If you have any questions please contact Director of Development Charlie Harvey. |
A new philanthropic option is to donate stock to JPII. Stockholders often do not redeem stock because of the capital gains tax that would have to be paid. Click/tap the “Donate Stock” button below and you’ll receive a confirmation as soon as the transaction is processed. Should you decide to give again next year, your information is saved. |

| GIRLS BIBLE STUDY In a culture where friendship is measured in follows, likes, mentions, and snaps, and being “unfriended” is a very real worry, girls often think they need to have it all together—the pressure for perfection creates distance instead of real, authentic relationships. That's why Mrs. Mabe will be leading We Saved You A Seat which takes girls deeper into scripture to learn how to create, invest in, and keep up lifelong friendships. The bible study will meet for seven Wednesdays after school beginning Jan. 10. The cost to participate is $20 for the book and supplies. The deadline to sign up and pay is Friday, Jan. 5. |

ALL FAMILIES ARE NOW ELIGIBLE FOR THE OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP On October 3, 2023, the North Carolina State Budget (House Bill 259) became law. The new law authorizes several changes to the State’s Opportunity Scholarship Program, which will begin with the 2024-2025 school year. Changes for the 2024-2025 school year include: - Removal of the income cap for families to receive the scholarship; now all North Carolina students in kindergarten through 12th grade will be eligible for the Scholarship regardless of income.
- Prior public school enrollment is no longer a requirement for eligibility for the scholarship (this means existing private school families are eligible).
- A student’s scholarship amount will be based on household income.
- Scholarship amounts will range from approximately $3,000 to approximately $7,000.
All families should mark their calendars for February 1, 2024 when the Opportunity Scholarship application for the 2024-2025 school year will open. Families must apply by March 1 to receive priority consideration. More information about the application process will be available on the program website in January. |
