DRESS CODE SIMPLIFIED The daily dress code will now be the dress code every day. Students must come dressed for school (they cannot dress at their locker or in the bathroom) and are expected to abide by the dress code at all times during the school day. The daily dress code is as follows: - tops: a gray, navy blue, light blue, white, or light yellow polo or a JPII spirit wear shirt; JPII outerwear if desired
- bottoms: modest navy blue or khaki fingertip length shorts or skirts (ladies only, no higher than 3 inches above the knee) or slacks, including solid navy blue or khaki joggers
- shoes: closed-toe shoes, Crocs, sandals, sneakers, or boots (no slides)
Additionally: - If a student is wearing outerwear that includes a hood, at no time should the hood be on their head.
- Clothing must fit appropriately. Anything that is overly tight or form-fitting is not considered modest and therefore not acceptable. Clothes should also not be too baggy, ripped, or tattered. There should be no cleavage and no bare midriffs, whether this is caused by tops “rising up” or bottoms “riding down.”
- At no time are the following items appropriate to wear during the school day: hats inside the building, pajamas, athletic pants, and short running shorts.
- Only modest ear piercings are allowed.
- Any hairstyle that causes a disturbance in the learning environment is not allowed. If a student dyes their hair, it must be of a natural color.
- Tattoos must be covered at all times.
Students are required to comply with all staff instructions regarding dress and appearance. Staff reserves the right to determine at any time if any piece of clothing, jewelry, or anything worn by the student is unacceptable in the school environment and may ask the student to change or remove it. If a student is not following dress code guidelines, the appropriate disciplinary action will be applied. Questions about this policy should be directed to the dean of students. |

The deadline to submit your résumé and paragraph is tomorrow, June 23 at 3:00 p.m. The scholarship committee will then meet to determine our 2023-2024 nominees. APPLY FOR THE ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB BOARD The Athletic Booster Club Board of Directors is looking for new members! Parents of rising freshmen and sophomores are especially encouraged to apply to fill several spots. |
A heads up that SchoolAdmin was purchased by another company and is now known as Finalsite Enrollment. Nothing has changed other than their name so families will not see any other differences when they sign into their Finalsite Enrollment accounts. |
Online ticketing and Athletic Booster Club memberships are moving from Hometown Ticketing to GoFan. More information will be in the next Summer Update. |
| | Incoming freshmen who are interested in running for SGA or serving as members-at-large are asked to complete the form linked below to share your interest with SGA Advisor Mrs. Lyles. |

Summer is often a good time to order JPII spirit wear. The Saints Shop, EB Sports, and Ink'd Threads are the official providers of JPII spirit wear. The Saints Shop is the on-campus spirit wear store. Orders are pulled soon after they are submitted and are picked up at the school. The EB Sports store closes each Tuesday and re-opens the following day. We recommend ordering on the weekend or Monday since orders are pulled on Tuesday. If you order on Wednesday, your order will not be pulled until the following Tuesday thus adding a week to processing. Orders can take 2-3 weeks to process and complete from the store closing date! Any items that become back-ordered due to challenges with suppliers may take longer than the 3 weeks for delivery. Orders from EB Sports are delivered to the school; if you order from Ink'd Threads you can choose to either pick up your order or have it delivered to the school when you checkout. |
