This week is the annual celebration of Catholic Schools Week which focuses on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities, and our nation. Below are this year's activities:
Sunday
-Students can start voting for this year's Virtue Awards
Monday
-Seniors will be of service to residents at Cypress Glen Retirement Community
Tuesday
-Students will participate in a walking rosary during Theology classes
Wednesday
-Mass with Fr. Gaston and celebrate his birthday
-SGA will lead the making of bag lunches for Community Crossroads
-Voting for this year's Virtue Awards ends
Thursday
-Prayer Partner intentions during assembly
-Parents recognized for their support of Catholic education
Friday
-Students can wear their "JPII FAMILY" theme shirt with pajama pants to school by bringing a dollar with them to school for Fr. Gaston's Little Angels (students donate the dollar as they enter the building on Friday - no dollar, no PJs!)
-Virtue Awards announced at assembly
-Rosary Making Club from 2:30-3:15 p.m.
-The St. Peter Catholic School community has been invited to join us for our basketball games
Saturday & Sunday
-Selected students will serve at all Masses at St. Peter as lectors, gift bearers, etc.
