| YEARBOOK PICTURE DAY IS THURSDAY! Jostens will be on campus on Thursday to photograph all students for the yearbook. Students will be called to the PAC when it is their time to be photographed. Seniors will be photographed in tux or drape. 9th-11th grade students can wear either their JPII spirit wear or, if parents would like for them to wear a nicer top for photos, they can do so as long as it is in line with the ideals of respect and modesty but it cannot include the color green. Dress code bottoms still apply. |

MS. THOMSEN'S WEEKLY STUDY TIPS Study Tip #3 : S.M.A.R.T Goals for Academic Success S.M.A.R.T Goals are great ways to avoid procrastination and complete your major assignments on time. Last week, juniors and seniors received their thesis paper assignments. For freshmen and sophomores, you’ve got new books to read. S.M.A.R.T. goals will help you not only complete these important assignments but learn more from them. Pulling an all-nighter to write your thesis paper is not a good idea. That approach results in a glorified first draft, not a well-reasoned, high-quality paper. (I tried it!) |
Each week, I will post a new video (3-5 minutes). You can also join my "JPII Weekly Study Tips" Google Classroom to download the materials. The class code is vsffbqf. |
