This week's Saint is Blessed Miguel Pro who was beatified on September 25, 1988 by Pope John Paul II. Fr. Pro used his natural gifts of intense determination and courage, seen throughout all parts of his life, to further the kingdom of God. Modern Catholics may follow Fr. WEDNESDAY: MASS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
We are thankful to have Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama visit the school this Wednesday, September 2, for our annual Mass of the Holy Spirit. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are wisdom, understanding, right judgment, courage, knowledge, reverence, and wonder and awe in God’s presence. These gifts allow believers to be brought into fuller communion with God and see His work in our relationships, our work, and every part of our lives. This special Mass asks the Holy Spirit to be with the entire JPII community to guide and direct us through our efforts during the year.

Students are to wear their daily uniform. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, guests will not be permitted at this Mass. There will be no Mass this Friday, September 4. Friday is a half-day of school (1st-4th periods) with dismissal at 12:05 p.m.

DRIVERS ED

Carolina Road Driving School will be offering drivers ed at JPII from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Saturdays from September 12 to October 10. The cost is $350. The registration form and payment are due by THIS FRIDAY, September 4 to the main office.
