SPRING ATHLETICS AWARDS CEREMONY

Last Tuesday, we honored those who participated in spring sports: baseball, men's golf, men's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, and softball. The following student-athletes received special recognition:

Baseball All-Conference: Cash Daniels-Moye, Dillon Gregory, Axel Keller, and Ray Shaw

Men's Golf All-Conference and Conference Player of the Year: Davis Miller

Women's Soccer All-Conference: Maggie Geiger and Michelle Saucedo-Trinidad

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE TEEN AMBASSADOR APPLICATIONS

The Teen Ambassador Program gives teens a greater understanding of several aspects of a nonprofit organization and shows them the importance of giving back to the community! Teens commit to one year of service from August-April and work on service projects around the House, fundraising and creating awareness in the community. Applications are due June 1st! MEN'S AND WOMEN'S GOLF INTEREST MEETING

New golf coach Andy Steed will hold a meeting for those interested in men's or women's golf for the 2021-2022 school year this Wednesday, May 26 at 3:15 p.m. in the gym.

CONCUSSION BASELINE TESTING FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR

JPII student-athletes are required to take concussion vital sign testing annually. You can go ahead and complete your testing for the 2021-2022 school year with Athletic Trainer Mary Leach this Tuesday, May 25 at the end of the school day in the dining hall. To participate, you must bring a laptop with you; an iPad will not work.

Rising 9th graders - The Book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible
Rising 10th graders - Sir Gawain and the Green Knight
Rising 11th graders - Frankenstein
Rising 12th graders - Book of your choice with more than 100 pages (must be approved by Mr. Elliott)
